Cancellation Policy
What happens if you need to change or cancel an appointment.
Last updated: June 2026
Cancellation Policy: 24 Hours’ Notice
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to change or cancel an appointment. This allows enough time to offer the appointment to someone else who may be waiting for support.
Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or appointments that are missed without notice, will incur the full session fee. Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for late cancellation fees.
Why This Policy Exists
This policy is in place to ensure sustainability of the practice and fairness to all clients. When an appointment is booked, that time is reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations often cannot be filled, which impacts both the practitioner and other clients who are seeking therapy.
